Re: bug in ide
I get the same error although the access violation and read of address values are different. I did find something however which might be of help.
1. Create a new project and double-click, say, the welcome dialog to open it.
2. Double-click the Cancel button to open the Define Interactive Characteristics.
3. Select the Object Rules tab. That's when I get the error displayed.
4. Select the Object Behavior tab.
5. Select the Performs Action dropdown and change it to something else.
6. Select the Object Rules tab again. This time I don't get an error displayed.
7. Select the Object Behavior tab again.
8. Reset the Performs Action dropdown and change it back to the original value.
I could then continue editing the form without further error. However, saving the dialog and reopening reinstates the original error message.
