DifX Uninstall

Hi,

The installer I am currently producing handles both 64 bit and 32 bit installation. It uses the inbuilt Difx command to install our driver. The driver contains an inf file, sys file and cat file which all installs/uninstalls perfectly manually via control panel. When I go to uninstall via the Difx command I get an error c:\Program...\OFFLINE... mDIFxIDE.dll not found, on the 64 bit mahcine, not tried 32 bit yet.

How can I fix this? and this is urgently required to work.

Unfortuantly I can not send you any driver, or script just have not got any time to spend packaging up things. I have wrote my own DLL to install / uninstall the driver and that now works. If I get time I might generate a sample.

Ok we have sorted this one out. Unfortunatly we are just unable to use the built in Difx functionality. I have written a co-installer for our device and now we can install / uninstall the device via a custom DLL call inside installaware. We was hoping that the installer could handle this, but alas, trying to be all things to all men can have its problems
