setting progressbar max value to variable

Post by Marko »

Hi

Is there a way to assign a variable from script to progressbar's max value?

I created a dialog with progressbar and one label. I manage to pass variable to a label's caption but i didn't find the way to pass that to the progressbar.
I tried with the rule but variables and control.properties are not alowed in the field "To New Value".

Dear Marko,

Here is a quote from InstallAware's help files:
PROGRESS: Initially 0. A numerical representation of the current position in installation progress, where 0 is nothing and 100 is complete. This value is displayed in progress dialogs.

Hi Aviv

I know about PROGRESS and how to set it.
But I want to set the maximum value of the progress bar. There is a propertie of it - progressbar.Max.
You can set it in design mode of the dialog.

So, are you trying to say that maximum value of the progress bar is 100? It can not be lets say 65?

I set it to 53 and there were 53 repeats and it worked just fine.
I just wont to set this maximum value thru script.

Dear Marko,

I am sorry - I misunderstood your question before.
Unfortunately, this value cannot be altered within the MSIcode script. I apologize.
