Create or update existing zip file

Our application uses a zip file for deploying new updates to clients. Is there any support to create a zip file or update an existing file on the client machine?

Not by default with InstallAware, however you should look at 7zip / other archive extractors and see if any of them has a license that allows you to ship their binary with your installation...
