How can I have my Installer detect whether it is running in silent mode or not?
I want to have a checkbox ("Reboot Now") on the finish page that is preset to "true" IF the user is running the installer normally. If the installer is being pushed out the user's computer (silent installation), I do not want to have my installer reboot (as my application my be one of a series of installations occurring and the firm should control when/if to reboot).
Is there a method that my installer can check / test for that would let me know if it is being run in silent mode?
How to detect if in silent mode?
Re: How to detect if in silent mode?
Absolutely - the SILENT variable will be set to TRUE by the InstallAware engine when a silent setup is run.
