Initiating MS message queueing.

Post by bokkie »

It's easy enough to create message queues as I can run a c# app inside the filebag to do it. What I can't see how to do is to install MS' message queueing. The attached screencap shows what I want to do on Win7 and it's a little different to how you'd do it on XP. MSMQ is accessible via the control panel. Does anyone know if there's something I can do inside IA's script to install MSMQ if it has not been enabled? The default state on machines is that MSMQ is not available and once it is, it creates services to do the queue management. I don't think our lab users want to faff around installing MS products. Can it be done in IA somehow?

Dear Peter,

I think that this is only possible on Windows 2008:
