After create a new Web install with version 10.10 and run it all is fine but if I run the install again and error is raised "Unable to uninstall old version of my product uninstall it yourself using the Control Panel... I get the same message when following the directions.
I'v seen some other posts on this but and I tried removing the code to determine if the platform is 64bit but the problem still persist.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Thanks
Ron

Re: Unable to uninstall old version of [MY PRODUCT]
Thanks for the response Aviv,
Turns out that I had to generate a new product code, clean out the registry of the old product code and recompile and I was back on track.
The question now is, how did this problem come about? Its aparent the product code was the cause but how it got corupted to cause this problem is a mistery that may never get revealled. I hope it does't reoccur after I have distributed this version and update need to applied, as changing the product code will not be an option then.
It there somewhere in the registry I missed to maunlly clean up that could have enable me not to reset the product code?
Thanks for your input
Ron
P.S. I really like you product and appreciate it abilities.

Re: Unable to uninstall old version of [MY PRODUCT]
Hi Ron,
Its probably because your installer was trying to uninstall a product code that doesn't exist.
Anyhow, I am excited to learn that you like InstallAware!
