Hi chaps, I think I've found a minor but reproducible bug in 11 which might be true in earlier versions but I can't be sure. Here's what I found:
Create a new project. I used the basic setup template. At the top of the MSIcode window create a variable and an if statement referencing it. Inside the if...end put say, a MessageBox inside it. As you see, nothing involved. Select the code you've created and cut it. Trawl down the MSIcode and paste the cut code after the Apply Install statement. Build the project. It should build ok.
Select the "if" statement you copied and delete it. It will in (11) automatically delete the "end" statement as well. Build the project. When I do, it throws a "List index out of bounds (-1)" error message.
I needed to copy some code elsewhere in the script which is how I came across the problem. It's not a major hassle as you can work around it by copy-and-pasting the code inside the if...end and then deleting the empty if...end block. Thought I'd mention it all the same.
