I built an installation package for you .NET FW 4 app and selected .NET FW 4 and .NET FW Client 4 as application runtimes.
When I ran the installation on a clean machine it installed the frameworks and in the control panel I can see that MS .NET FW 4 Client Profile and MS .NET FW 4 Extended both with version 4.0.30319 have been installed.
When I try to start my app it says that I have to install framework 4.0.30319.
Very Weird!?
Do I have to install something else?
Using IA 11.

.NET FW 4 not installed correctly?
Re: .NET FW 4 not installed correctly?
It turns out that I had to boot the system and then everything works fine. But InstallAware didn't tell me to do so. Is this a bug?
Also: do you always have to install the Client framework 4 together with FW 4? Because if I only install FW 4 the installation of the FW fails.

Re: .NET FW 4 not installed correctly?
Dear Thomas,
InstallAware merely wraps .NET 4 and .NET 4 Client Profile, and therefore your questions should be directed to Microsoft - InstallAware runs the installation of those runtimes as if the user were running them.
