Hi, I'm testing the InstallAware and until now, I found it very easy and powerfull. Now I'm testing the patch mechanism to update my application, actually we have an automatic updates service, wich gets the notification of new versions. We're thinking on creating a patch on each upgrade and publish it on the web, so our notification service will download the patch and run it. The problem is the patch requieres the original media available when the user run the patch, it's a big deal because there could be more than 100 users trying to run the patch at the same time, and we just provide one media to all. We distribute the installation on a DVD, because the installer size is over 600 MB...what can we do to update the installations automatically without requiring the original media or a local copy?
Thanks in advance
