.Net 4 prereq problem in Win 7 32-bit

Hey folks, I recently came up against a problem in IA 10 of the .NET 4 prerequisites no longer installing in 32-bits. This works fine in 64-bits, but the included .Net 4 prerequisite now keeps giving me the message of

whenever I try and install on 32-bits. This happened in my original installer, so I created a simple sample project that literally does nothing other then install .Net 4 32-bit (using the InstallAware script provided), but I get the same error each time on a 32-bit OS (the dialog above is the error message I get). This is a new thing for me, and I wanted to know if anyone else has run into this, any ideas / hints / clues about what I might try and do to try to fix this? Or even figure out what's going on?

I'm a little confused - are you saying that this did not used to happen when tested under the same conditions?

Exactly -this is a new thing, this same installer used to work under these conditions. Nothing has changed on our installer side, so we are at a bit of a loss with what to do...

Have you made changes to InstallAware (e.g, have you installed a new version of it)?
Could you try this on a different machine to eliminate the specific machine as the problem?

Sorry to be away for awhile, another project ran up and hit me over the head...

As for changes to Installaware, we recently upgraded to the latest (11.03) is order to try this problem, but we're still having the issue. We get the errors below, then it quits.

The strange thing that we just noticed is that this happens only in the "Web Deploy" installers. When we generate the "Single" installers, we don't have any issue with them. We generally do use the "Web Deploy" installers for our clients, so this is a bit of an issue.

Have you heard of any problem like this / have any suggestions? I have a small sample installer that I was able to recreate this issue (and I do see this on more then one machine here)...

Hi,

Definitely sounds like your Web Media Block for the framework is corrupt.
This can happen at build time, while uploading it to the server, when downloading it - anything is possible.
Are you able to find the 7zip file that encapsulates the Web Media Block and trying to open and extract it with 7zip?
