Hi,
I am using Oracle plugin and for every script I need to establish a new connection.
Yes, it is possible to put several sql statements at the same time but I need to have control over each statement.
Is there a way to establish a permanent connection to Oracle database?
Best regards
Marko

Re: permanent connection to Oracle database
Any chance that it will be?
This is a big drawback. I have a couple of 100 of line to process and connecting for each line is a major waste of time.
Can be done some other way?
Regards Marko

Marko,
What kind of commands are you running? Are you able to use a script for these commands?

Re: permanent connection to Oracle database
Hi Aviv,
I am sending you a file which needs to be processed. It is a small file but youo will get the idea.
As you will see there is a sign "/" at the end of the one script. I need to run these scripts one by one in order to control their execution.
In teh first part you will se some condition (#IFNOT) statesments. Based on the result of these conditions the following script is executed or not.
Any ideas?
Regards Marko

Marko,
Unfortunately - you would have to either call the scripts one by one, or find some way to combine them to one big script..
