I realize that an upgraded install with the same product code has to be un-installed first - but is there any way to automatically uninstall during the install process, and continue on with the installation without the user having to re-launch the install after the uninstallation occurs? I swear I've seen this before with another Installaware based application - but I can't figure out how to do it.
Thanks,

A way to Uninstall / Install all in 1 pass?
Re: A way to Uninstall / Install all in 1 pass?
Rhett,
When you build a setup from a template such as the Basic Setup template, the previous version is automatically uninstalled for you if a newer version is being installed - there is no need to relaunch the installer.

Re: A way to Uninstall / Install all in 1 pass?
I tried doing a fresh New template with the Basic Setup. But when I run the installer a 2nd time it does allow to uninstall, but doesn't continue with the install afterwards. The user has to uninstall everything, then re-run the installer. I really don't want them to see the Change Features or Repair options. Simply uninstall then take them through the normal installation all in 1. Am I missing something?

Ah... ok, I get it now. I have to change the revision code then it acts like expected. Thanks for the help. - Rhett
