hi,
i'm using IA 12 .
i defined a schduled task in the MSICode and build it.
after runing the exe on windows 7 the scheduled task appears and looks good.
but after runing the same exe on windows 2008 r2 the scheduled task doesn't exist.
do you know what can be the problem?
thanks,
Nofar
scheduled task doesn't work on windows 2008 r2
Re: scheduled task doesn't work on windows 2008 r2
Nofar,
Are you able to manually create the schedule task? Do you have permissions to do so? I have a feeling that this has something to do with the OS rather than InstallAware.

As a work around, I would suggest using the Run Program command to run schtasks and manually creating the task on R2 - would that work for you?
