Custom Serial validation

Hello, is htere a way that i can use the builtin ia serial generator but with as custon format of serial?
(e.g. ##-OEM-####-####### for an oem licens product and ##-UPG-####-####### upgrade product and ##-OTS-####-####### for an off-the-shelf roduct)

note: the # is a variable value from 0 to 9 while the OEM, UPG, and OTS are constants based on the product you purchase?



I am using IA 8 studio admin

This will be a little complicated with IA. You can generate random numbers and assign them to strings, but instead it will be much easier to write your own DLL (or better yet, an InstallAware plugin) that generates the serial number.
