I just upgraded to IA 2012 without any problems from a trial version and installed all the licenses without any error messages.
When I try to build an existing project from the trial version, I get a the message and the builds fails:
Warning: No files matching wildcard pattern:
C:\PROGRAM~1\INSTALL~2\INSTALL~1\runtimes\vc10bin_x86*\*.*
The folder does exist and there are files in that folder.
Looks like I am missing something basic here or I have not done something that needs to be completed before using the product.
Please suggest

Re: Compile error with IA2012
Could you please attach a screenshot showing that folder and what it contains?

Re: Compile error with IA2012
I've seen this.
Try unchecking and re-checking the installed dependency under Application runtimes (might require a save/ restart of IA 2012)
Also, make sure under compiler vars there's no IADIR=. Sometimes that gets populated and breaks my builds as well.
Ckaware.
