Patch does not change the version in Programs and Features

Hello,

I've full installation v1.0 and a patch v1.1 for it

After applying a patch over full installation, version of the full installation is not changed, it's still 1.0 but should be 1.1 in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features
Should patch change version automatically in Programs and Features or I need to do it manually by changing registry key (DisplayVersion)?

Hi,

Patches do not change product versions - they patch them. Updates change product versions.
