How does it remember TARGETDIR value??
My setup actually has several TARGETDIRs because I'm installing several applications and some are client/server apps (which get installed in C:\Program Files) while others are web apps (which get installed in C:\inetpub\wwwroot). Right now my setup errors whenever MAINTENANCE=True (modify or repair options) because it doesn't remember my other TARGETDIRs.
How can I setup my other TARGETDIRs like the main TARGETDIR so that when MAINTENANCE=True it will remember where all the apps were installed, not just TARGETDIR?
Thanks for any help!
How does it remember TARGETDIR value??

Re: How does it remember TARGETDIR value??
Dear User,
the TARGETDIR it is resolved by the setup itself.
If you want that your setup will keep a value of any variable in Maintenance or Uninstall mode, simple use the option "Remember value when restarting setup" in Set Variable command.
"Except for the pre-defined variables TARGETDIR, STARTMENU and ALLUSERS, setup does not save the value of the variables you use in your setup. If you would like setup to save the values of your variables, so they are initialized to the last value they had when setup was running, check this box. If not, leave this box unchecked."
You can have a look to more detailed info about the command, just pressing F1 in the IDE.
Hope this helps you.
Regards.

Re: How does it remember TARGETDIR value??
Thanks! This seems to be working.
I thought that setting was only for when the setup would need to restart during the middle of the setup.
