Reboot Computer And Resume command do not reboot

Hi Support,

As part of our installer we do an uninstall of the old product before installing the new version.
As part of the uninstall we perform a reboot by using "Reboot Computer And Resume Setup". On our machines everything works great but on our client computers the windows does not reboot. It simply closes the msi installer and continue operating.
The operating system we tested on is windows XP. The user is an administrator.

Any ideas?

It works fine with any OS. Just build it!

Hi Fransesco,

give me some more credit I know how to use this command.
You misunderstood what I wrote.
We have a specific client that only on his XP machines it doesn't reboot.
I have a popup messagebox just before the reboot command, so I know I got to it. I see the messagebox, click OK and then nothing happens. The system doesn't reboot, simply continue to operates.

Any ideas?

Dear Tzachk,

... any antivirus is running on that machine. If true, could you try to suspend it to see what happens?
