Quick Way todefine the contents of minimum install

Hello:

I have a copy of IA 8 studio admin and have found it extremely difficult to customize the mimum install and add serial number validation (using serial number validation sample as a starting point). I have looked at the seerial number validation samlpe and am able to get the serial number validation to work, but now from the design>features view i cannot seem to figure out how from that view (not having to go to msicode view) how to mark cirtain cmponants as part of the inimum install. Can anyone pease help me with defining the mimum install visually (no coding needed, just point, click, deploy...)

I am not sure if I follow your question.

What do you exactly mean with "how to mark cirtain cmponants as part of the inimum install"?

All the project settings, that can be modified without the need to use the MSI code view, are available under InstallAware Design view.

From there you can define, project name, project version, product code and the files that have to be installed ... these are generally the minimum requirement for an install project. Any other possible setting depends on what eventually, your project specifically requires.
