Hi Support,
In my server installer, I'm including an MS SQL DB bak file.
The DB bak file name is synamic, pending on the version number.
Example, for verion 1.1 the file name is db1.1.bak, for version 2.0 the name shall be db2.0.bak.
I'm trying to use Install Files c:\db$VERSION$.bak, but during compile it doesn't find the file ($VERSION$ is the version of the running setup which mateches the db bak version).
ANy ideas?
Regards,
T.

Re: Dynamic file name
Dear Tzachk,
Script variables can't be used with the command and you should use a compiler variable for that.
Please refer to the following topic ... where I posted a sample for a similar question.
