Selected feature does not show its space requirements

I have created a web installer using features. On the 'Choose Features' panel, the 'space required' value is the same, no matter what feature is selected. In my experience, installers actually show the space required for the selected feature. Is this a bug, or do I have to specify something in IA, or is that just how IA works?
