Patching for Uncompressed?
Patching for Uncompressed?
Is patching only for Web deployments? Or is it also for Uncompressed? Seems that when patches are used against uncompressed, it gets confused and tries to find the original source.

Re: Patching for Uncompressed?
Dear Tofutim,
I believe you missed to set the "Always Cache Setup Sources (enables easy patching)" check control (Press SHIFT+CTRL+F11).
Please refer to the available documentation for more details.

Re: Patching for Uncompressed?
Are you saying that I can patch both compressed (Web) and uncompressed with the same patch? Is the cache function on the user side or developer side?

Re: Patching for Uncompressed?
Dear tofutim,
What do you mean with both compressed (Web) and uncompressed? are you referring to two distinct projects?
If it is the same project, sure you can.
Obviously, I am supposing that you are not patching files that could be conditionally installed via WEB MEDIA BLOCK.
It is an InstallAware project setting ... (... if I haven't missed your question).
