Files

Copying files onto the target system is one of the most vital setup functions to be performed. The Files page allows you to choose which files and folders are copied onto the target system.

Adding Files

  1. First, use the combo box to choose which feature the files to copy belong to. Unless that feature is selected during setup, the files will not be copied. Use the Feature Independent selection to indicate files that should be copied regardless of selected features.
  2. Choose the target folder on the destination system that the files should be copied into.
  3. Click the Add Files button and choose one or more files to copy into the chosen folder.
  4. If you select some files in error, highlight them and click the Delete button.
  5. If you need to copy files into subfolders of the designated target folder, add the items as folders instead.

Adding Folders

  • First, use the combo box to choose which feature the folders to copy belong to. Unless that feature is selected during setup, the folders will not be copied. Use the Feature Independent selection to indicate folders that should be copied regardless of selected features.
  • Choose the target folder on the destination system that the folder should be copied into. The folder will become a subfolder inside the destination folder.
  • Click the Add Folder button and choose a folder to copy into the destination folder. The chosen folder will be copied along with all files and further subfolders inside it.
  • If you select a folder in error, highlight them and click the Delete button.
  • If you need to copy individual files instead of folders, add the items as files instead.
