We have a product, that is tested and in the field, from time to time it needs a small fix and rebuild. It was built and tested with IA v6, and I would like to keep using v6 version of the installer.
However, the new versions of the product will use IA v7. How can I configure the build machine to be able to use both installers (don't need the IDE, just command line build)?
When installing IA7, the older version will be removed automatically. If I save the "InstallAware 6" folder in the Program Files, and copy it back, will the command line work? Is there any registry entries, that miabuild depends on?
Thank you
Andrej.

There's lots of plug-in entries in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\MimarSinan\\InstallAware\\2.0\\Plug-Ins
Otherwise you'd be fine with just the automation libraries and the command line build tool.
