How to add serial number in a setup file

There is a sample project file in IA called Serial Validation. You can use that for ideas on what to do and it contains sample code to get you started.

I have another doubt

i want to set the serial number to only one system. if i installed in one system and i try to installed in another system, i want error message.

is this possible

i get a serialnumbervalidation sample project in IA

and i run the project , it ask the 25 digit serial number

where to get a 25 digit serial number and can i give the serial number my own numbers

Yes if you validate the serial online. See this post

You would need to modify the php script to record that the serial number has been used already. My sample script only checks if the serial is valid. I have added a few other things in my script which I for obvious reasons won't disclose.
