Opening a dialog thru a button

Postby Treoxx » Fri Jan 27, 2006 6:48 am

Is it possible to open a dialog by an button? (like the browse button)

I've tried a lot but did not find any solution.

Thanks!

Please take a look at the CD Autorun sample which illustrates how to custom-process clicks on dialog buttons. Note that you cannot nest dialogs, however if you wish to show a file open dialog etc, check on the plug-ins section of this forum - there is a plug-in there that does exactly that, contributed by our MVPs.

Of course you can!
Please use the Display Dialog command. There is a good example also on the MSDN Article, explaining how can you use buttons on your dialogs.

If you need further assistance, i can provide consulting services and create the setup for you, at very a reasonable fee.Feel free to contact me at pkefal (at) installaware (dot) com.

Thank you!
