Hi Technical Support Team,
after investiguating for my issue i found a similar issue i'm curently facing as reported on this topic:
http://forums.installaware.com/viewtopi ... 77&start=0
It's the same scenario as described below:
I really have no problems on building the project and installing it on every OS when i make a clean install.
The problem comes when I upgrade the same product (i.e. same product code but different revision code) on my Windows 7 Professional x64 (MSDN final, so no RC nor beta).
Everything goes fine until the reboot, when I enter Windows, the setup restarts in the RunOnce way (i.e. no desktop, no taskbar, etc) but after the language selection dialog, i got an error that says only "not implemented". However, after I click OK i can continue normally and complete the installation...
Any idea on how to fix it?
Best regards,

Dear abdou24,
How are you calling the Reboot Computer and Resume Setup? Is it set to Resume Setup After Login?

if Variable REMOVEOLD Equals ERROR
MessageBox: $TITLE$ Setup, Unable to uninstall old version of $TITLE$. Please uninstall it yourself using Control Panel Add-Remove Programs before attempting to install this product.$NEWLINE$$NEWLINE$$ERROROLD$
Terminate Installation
end
if Variable REMOVEOLD Equals REBOOT
MessageBox: $TITLE$ Setup, Your computer needs to be restarted before $TITLE$ Setup can continue.$NEWLINE$$NEWLINE$Please save your work in all running programs and click OK to restart your computer. Setup will resume once your computer restarts.$NEWLINE$$NEWLINE$If you click CANCEL, setup will exit. You will have to run setup again at a later time to install $TITLE$.
if Variable REBOOTNOW Equals OK
Reboot Computer and Resume Setup
else
Terminate Installation

end
Yes actually it's set to resume after login ( that is normally the way it behaves since the setup path is execute from the runonce registry entry).
Here is the log (attached) of my uninstallation causing the reboot.
Why the fact to delete "C:\Config.Msi\XXXXX.rbf" is causing a reboot ?
