How did you load this Run Program As window?

That might be the key for me.

Gene,

You can either drag that command from the right hand menu in the MSIcode tab, or select the desired MSIcode line ans start typing Run Program As.. until IA autocompletes your entry.

Hi, Aviv,

I think Run Program As is nor for my application. It seems that it is for applications that need to run extra external executable files. Mine is very simple: to install my application to client machine on c:\program files\my application folder. And my executable file needs to have full access of the folder it lies. It seems that windows 7 doesn't grand a full access to my executable to read/write text files in the same folder. That has bothered me for a whole day!

Any hints or ideas I should further investigate? Thanks!

Hi Gene,

With your Requested Elevation Level set to highestAvailable, you should be good to go in terms of permissions.
Have you tried that?
