Is it possible to open a web page in the default browser?

Sure is, use Run Program or Run Program As, and specify the URL as the program to open.

Is this still possible in IA 12?

I am only able to do this with "run program". With "run program as" I get error code "-11" back.

But I would prefer to use run program as because there it is possible to start the browser de-elevated.

Attached the script entries:

Hi,

As a better alternative, try running iexplore.exe (Internet Explorer) and specifying the URL as the parameter. Let me know if that worked.

But I want to use the default browser, is there a way (without looking for it in the registry)? And why does it not work with "run program as" like it works wit "run program"?

This seems to be related to Windows - when I use runas /user:USERNAME http://www.installaware.com, I get:
RUNAS ERROR: Unable to run - http://www.installaware.com
2: The system cannot find the file specified.
