Hi there,
I tried InstallAware as an alternative to InstallShield. I understand that it has been added to Delphi XE2, I thought I better try to get acquainted with it. I'm intending to move on to Delphi XE2 soon but not yet. Therefore I downloaded the stuff from the web and because I hate installing things that stop working after 30 days, I opted for the free edition. It works with Visual Studio which is installed on my machine - right??? After downloads that lasted almost a few hours - not just a few minutes! - it seemed to have installed correctly. I started InstallAware from the toolbar within Visual Studio 2008 but unfortunately it told me that it requires Visual Studio! My conclusion: InstallAware is the angel I don’t know ...

Thank you - could you please try removing and reinstalling InstallAware free edition?
