Mutually Exclusive features selection

Postby chintanpatel7 » Mon Mar 18, 2013 12:00 am

Hello,

I want to setup Features structure in which one feature has two sub-features which are mutually exclusive.

For example, suppose I have Feature 1 and also Sub-Feature 1 and Sub-Feature 2 under Feature 1 as per attachment. Sub-Feature 1 is initially selected.

Now if user selects Sub-Feature 2 then Sub-Feature 1 will be deselect and vice versa.

How can we do this?

Regards,
Chintan

Dear Chintan,

unfortunately, it is not possible to handle it with a "Dialog Control Object Behavior" Rule.

I ran into this issue myself and it required me to rethink the design flow of my installation, unfortunately the end result isn't as clear to the user (or simple) as it would have been if this type of configuration would of been possible.
