Hi,
While installing i am getting the error " unable to copy installation data to local folders".
I looked at the similar topics, but none of them helped. What could be the reason for this?
It extracts till 77% ans then stops with this message.

Re: unable to copy installation data to local folders
Dear kishorkk23,
which IA version are you using?
Did you try to generate a log file of the installation (<setup.exe> /l=<path to logfile>)?
Regards

Part of the folder, as this forum is not allowing me to upload the complete folder

Re: unable to copy installation data to local folders
Dear kishorkk23,
I am sorry, but I am not able to verify any issue using your attachment.
As I said, I suggest you to run a logged installation (<setup.exe> /l=<path to logfile>).
Hopefully, the generated LOG may report some more details about the source of your error.
Regards

Re: unable to copy installation data to local folders
Hi,
By un-checking the option to cache installation files, the error went off.
What could be the issue?
Regards,
Kishor

Re: unable to copy installation data to local folders
Dear Kishor,
maybe I am wrong, but honestly I don't see the relation that such option can have with the problem you reported.
As I said previously, I suggest you to run a logged installation (<setup.exe> /l=<path to logfile>).
This may report some more detailed information about the effective source of the problem.

Hi,
With the command <setup.exe> /l=<some_log>, the GUI of our software gets invoked and the next buttons are disabled in that flow ! so i cannot capture the log.
Regards,
Kishor

Dear Kishor,
honestly I don't know why your next button appears disabled. Maybe you altered the default dialogs behavior.
For sure this hasn't nothing with our default implementation of the log option.
