Microsoft defender blocked installation of IA 35.02 file

I am upgrading to IA X18 version 35.02 (complete/offline installer). During the installation Microsoft Defender popped up an alert that a threat had been detected. The following file was quarrantined:

file: C:\ProgramData\{A5AD78B1-3147-466F-96F4-BE0D95C26A2A}\OFFLINE\mFileBagIDE.dll\1947E485\miaxstub.exe

The threat it attributed to this file is:

Trojan:Win32/Bearfoos.B!ml
Details: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.

Has anyone run into this before? I assume this is a false positive and I can restore this file from quarrantine, but I thought it would be prudent to check first.

Correct, it's a false positive.

We'd love it if you could escalate this to Microsoft as a false positive, as they would give a higher priority to your report.
