change targetdir with startparameter

Postby Zack » Fri Mar 16, 2007 5:56 am

I tryed to change the targetdir ( "C:/mybuild/myinstaller targetdir=C:/$TITLE$" ) at the start of my installation. But without an positiv result.
With "title=something" it works fine.
The Docu tell me:
To set the values of setup variables from the command line, possibly overriding their default values in the process, specify the variables and their values as follows:
<setup> <VARIABLE_1>=<VALUE_1>

TARGETDIR: Initial value set to <Program>\\Application Title, using the name of the product being installed as the application title.
and

Hope someone can help me.
thanks Olli
