Hi,
I built a setup that works just fine on Windows XP. On Vista it gives an error on the moment of the 'Apply Install' (Fatal error during installation)
Even when I modify the setup and actually remove everything from it still produces the error!
If I look in the eventlog I see an error 1013 in the MSIInstaller...
Anyone?
Strange Vista problem - Setup shows 'Error' but not on XP!

Error 1013 is not covered in the MSDN documentation under Windows Installer errors.
In case it was 1310:
1310 Error attempting to create the destination file: [3]. System error code: [2]

It is error 1013
I'm sorry to say it is error 1013...
I stripped my whole setup and it is actually installing nothing anymore - and it still produces the error.
I'm running InstallAware Studio 6.6.
Can it be caused by the fact that my project was made in InstallAware 5, then modified in 6.0 and now modified en build in 6.6?
If so - maybe this is also the cause of the other problems I have and I posted in this newsgroup?

The error '1013' is the EventID... actual return code 1603
The '1013' code is actually the eventid posted in the Eventlog...
If I look a few events later It shows that the Installation returned a '1603' code...
