Hi all,
First of all, congratulations to the team on IA 7. As a new user I LOVE the new ribbon (I'm also running Office 2007, so am used to the ribbons in that, which probably helps)
No on to my question.
I am wanting to change an icon for a folder in the Start Menu of my installation, to give it a custom icon rather than the normal "folder" icon. The normal way to do this is using a Desktop.ini file (with the attributes set to Hidden and Sytem), and add a line in it for the path to the icon file.
In "another installation program" I was able to create the .ini file directly, and pass it the location to the icon file to go on the IconFile line. Is there a way to create .ini files in InstallAware, or does anyone know of a better way to set this using another Windows dll that sets the properties on the folder directly?
Thanks,
Bob
