Edit INI File

This command creates, updates or removes a .INI file entry on the target system.

INI File Path

Type the full path to the INI file to edit. Do not include the name of the INI file in this field.

INI File Name

Type the name of the INI file to edit. With the Windows Installer engine, you may not use any variables in this field, only string literals are allowed. With the Native Engine, variables are allowed.

Section

Type the name of the INI section to edit.

Key

Type the name of the section key to edit.

Value

Type the value the key under the indicated section should take.

Action

Choose the desired editing action from the drop down list.
